Ms Lambert
Director
Ms Lambert manages the administration at MPLC. She maintains our memberships and involvement in various industry groups which cover things from qualifications, professional development, working conditions and industry advocacy. Ms Lambert also manages MPLCs practicum student program - we all believe in always learning and take pride in helping educate the next generation of early childhood educators.
Ms Kimmanthudawa
Program Supervisor
Ms Kimmanthudawa is our Program Supervisor. With over 20 years of experience and AMI training she is a wealth of knowledge taking a leadership role in cross-training the MPLC team and keeping us up to date on professional development. She is a certified Yoga-At-School teacher and leads our yoga, dance and movement program. Ms Kimmanthudawa also has a passion for inclusion and works with specialized services for children with additional needs.
Other Team Members
Educators
All of MPLC's Educators hold an Alberta Child Care Certification, valid criminal record checks and first aid. Our team love learning too and continue to learn via ongoing professional development. Montessori training is obtained with formal qualifications and via onsite training.
