Montessori Program at MPLC
Art, Music and Movement
Child-led creativity and adult led crafts based on fine motor skill needs and current topics of interest. Daily music and movement culminating in a Winter and Spring concert.
Events
Events include family social events, in-class cultural celebrations, school photo day, in-house field trips, yellow bus field trips, kindergarten graduation ceremony and more.
Yoga
Formal yoga program.
Language Arts
MPLC is a language rich environment and formally introduces reading via phonics.
Mathematics
Building blocks for mathematics are provided throughout the year allowing students to reach advanced levels of maths during both junior kindergarten and kindergaten programs.
Outside Play
We are great believers in outdoor play. We endeavour to get children outside everyday no matter the weather. Bundle up for winter, splash in spring and explore the shade in summer.
